ryobi expandit brush cutter very hard to pull start (tight)?

Mine was running fine for weeks then just stopped.....

It is not starting from the battery and the pull start is VERY tight ??? anyone got an idea ??

Heap of S### I have one of these strimmers and have had nothing but trouble with it. The main handle assy was moving about so we stripped it down and found that the screw holes had no thread in them and never did they were moulded to big so the handle keeps moving around.
As for using the string part of the strimmer forget it as soon as you get going the string snaps and you have to take it all apart to re string.
Mine hit the skip thats the best place for it.

ok, so if you take off the spark plug,get a torch and look in the hole the spark plug came out of and see if you can see built-up carbon on top of the piston making xtra compression not needed.or take the spark plug off and pull the starter to see if it is still VERY hard to turn.if it is still hard to pull... you may have a seized engine.if so go to the tip and get another 1 if possible.
