what does alarm code 66 on a Gardtec 500 mean?

I have a Gardtec 500 domestic alarm system, and without apparent reason or prompt, the alarm has started the rapid beeping sound associated with the alarm being armed and simultaneously shows the error or failure code '66' in the LED panel display. Can anyone identify what the error code represents please, and additionally, how I should correct the fault. I keenly look forward to receiving some constructive replies. cheers, Chris

hi it means bb bell box tamper ,but it looks like 66 try remove the bell cover on the bell then put it back on ,as sometimes the spring can move if its hit or the hot weather makes the plastic on the bell cover exspand and contract , this was happening to me when in the summer the sun would heat up the bell cover and it would set it of, it was happening at the same time every other day, as a temp fix you could link out the tamper on the bell circuit at the panel or in the bell cheers pete
