my 50cc dash scooter ran out of oil the other day but it will start. but im haveing a really hard time getting it to start the spark plug has been changed the battery has been changed ive cleaned the jets in the carb what do i do

i would say that the oil pump veins are worn and allowing the oil to leak through while its not running and fill the crankcase with oil.take the plug out and hold the throttle wide open and kick it as fast as you can and see if any oil flys out of the plug hole.let me know if it does ok.

Ok.
when you kick it over does the kickstart feel loose or very hard to push down?
You need to check for a spark? take plug out pop back in hT lead and rest end of plug against cylinder head or something metal. now try and start. you should see plug sparking. you may need a mate to help to see. if it is, a nice bright blue spark then pop a small amount of petrol down bore hole and pop plug back in. Does it fire?
It does sound to me as though you have a more serious issue though, piston rings or such like?
