suffolk colt 30 no spark at plug?

i have a suffolk colt 30 (old one) wich i have been trying to start, problem is there is no spark at the plug , i have removed the fly wheel to check if it was clean inside and check the points, i cannot find any sign of points anywhere.
they dont seem to be missing as there are no lose wires anywhere. i am very mechanically minded but this is baffleing. please help.
regards frank .

the only thing that seems to be in there is a black module type of thing where the HT lead goes into and at the bottom is a wire that goes to the carb for the accellerater stop switch (to earth it) , what could be wrong as to stop it sparking. i have tested the HT lead that is o/k and also put on a multimeter to the HT lead wich registers a slight voltage when turned over, if you put your finger on the HT lead there is no shock at all. that was the last result to test it. it does say on the outer case that it is electronic ignition.
thank you for your time , regards frank

The later Punch had electronic ignition, the early Colts had contact breakers, maybe it has been converted at some time, there were after market igniter boxes that could be fitted, the wire from the coil went to a small tablet which took the place of the points.
