Candy Washing machine is not draining and seems to not do final spin?

My washing machine is not draining (although it drains when I disconnect and lower the pipes)
I drained it and set it on a quick wash and it went through everything ok except for (apparantly - not 100% sure) the final spin, and it ended the program ok, but didn't drain. Any ideas?

sounds as though your filter is blocked which is a flap with pull out section normally at bottom of machine which can get fluff caught in it and stop machine from spinning and draining. This happened to me.

this is a pump problem there may be something in the pump stopping it or the pump may be broken. be careful some candys have two pumps
