Beko eco care WMA 10W, wont spin?

Beko eco care WMA 10W wonty spin, I have checked the motor and brushes, seems fine (brushes are nearly out). I also checked the resistance across the motor, but as I am useless at electrics, I am now stuck. Any ideas people?

Thanks, it is now sorted. Cleaned brushes and the copper contact surfaces on the motor. Sounds like new again. I will have to replace the brushes soon though, only about 1/2 inch travel left on them. Thanks for the answer CK :)

pull the filter out.take all the clothes out of the drum.now select a spin program.What happens?.Whilst the filter is out shine a torch in to the filter housing and check if the drain pump impellor rotates freely
