my Asbo has no spark at the spark plug. any advice? any common faults?

I'd back that up, just spent some time on mine for the same problem, kill switch was already disconnected by the last owner.
Could also stick a volt meter on the coil and see what you get, also the kill switch on the stand would be worth looking at and maybe by-passing as they also play up on these bikes.
