What is the cause of what seems like clutch slip when auto box is going into second gear? New gearbox and one wheel speed sensor fitted which only gave temporary solution to the problem.

Same Fault as mine - after several return trips it was an EVM valve inside actual autobox that was faulty - approx £400-500 for repair. Seemed like car would suddenly slip out of gear, or lurch forward whilst driving, also intermittently the Gbox warning light would come on dash. Common fault apparently.

You should have a warranty on a 'new' gearbox, so take it back. If this is not possible for a honest evaluation of the fault find a F.A.T.E. member near you. www.fedauto.co.uk
