Iveco 75e15 Brakes?

Hi i just bought a Iveco Horsebox 75e15 1991 and have had the brakes overhauled, new master cylinders, pads calipers and air leak fixed. Pressure is fine but the pedal seems very soft almost to the floor, truck stops ok etc, mechanic says this is normal with Air over Hydraulics. Mot is due this monday. any advice would be appreciated.....thanks

Hi Stevie,
This is absolutely normal. My 75E15 is exactly the same and passes MOT every time.
Just as your mechanic said, this is a characteristic of the air over hydraulic brakes.
Providing it stops the vehicle promptly it will be fine.
