replace boot seal ?

I need to replace a rear axle boot seal on a New Holland 5030. It's the seal that has the brake rod running through it. Any advice before I start?

That is the one, it is quite simple to replace, Position the tractor on level ground, put chokes in at the opposite wheel, jack up the side which requires the new seal, you may need to drain some of the oil off, remove the brake linkage attached to the rod, lever out the damaged seal and slide the new seal on to the shaft ensuring the centre part is pushed right on and knock on the outer part, If the brakes are worn and there is not much adjustment left the seal might burst again.
