the yellow on my epson R300 no longer works,?

even when i have fitted a new yellow cartrige, there is no ink getting on the printed page, just blank where the yellow should be.
all the other colours are fine.
I have no errors coming up on the screen, and i have gone through lots of cartriges of the other colours through doing the clean and nosel check, but not having any joy getting the yellow to work.
I need some help on this one.
John.

Remove the cartridge and seal the inlet & outlet with sticky tape, put a short length of plastic tube onto the hollow needle which takes the ink to the printhead, use a syringe to fill the tube with JR or JET TEC Cartridge Flush and leave to soak for a few hours. Then use the syringe again to suck out the fluid, replace the cartridge after removing the tapes, run head clean or better still a small test document in WORD using large font in yellow only.
