Most ride on mowers only have a gearbox brake, this consists of a disc and two small brake blocks down on the side of the gearbox, if you have adjusted the the rod to the brake actuating lever and still no brake, you will have to replace the brake blocks, these are normally only available from the gearbox manufacturer.
