ford ka sidelights?

sidelights not working. fuses ok. where are the relays located
steven98, July 2010
Same problem - sidelights and instrument backlighting not working, but fuses (6,7) are OK, and all bulbs OK.

And there is 12V at the fuses when I turn the switch (checked with multimeter)!?

If I 'borrow' supply for fuses 6,7 from dipped lights (fuses 8,9), then there are sidelights also. So it can be faulty switch.
But then, how that I get 12V at fuses 6,7 and still no sidelights?

There are no relays for the sidelights, the supply comes through the switch then out through fuses 6 & 7 (L/H & R/H) if all sidelights and instrument backlighting are not working it will be the combination switch that need replacing
