Everything is repairable, its wheather its worth the cost of the parts to fix it, if this is a base model it is probably not worth the cost of a cylinder and piston, if it is a pro model it is well worth doing, if it is possible remove the muffler and look at the condition of the piston through the exhaust port, if there is any damage it will have to come apart.
