hi i have a ford vm manual transit van 2007 the slave cylinder has gone and a line split, a little oil has got on to the clutch plate and im told that it has to be replaced it is not that old (the plate)is this true or can it be cleaned up and put back in. Cheers Bruce Australia.

think g/box has to come out to do these slave cyl`s, it would be advisable to change the plate for what it is worth while the g/box is out.
