Over over oiled my Champion petrol lawn mower , is this terminal ?

Have stupidly put too much oil in my lan mower as was smoking and thought due to lack of oil . What can I do to un over oli and try to get working again ?

No. I have repaired a couple of mowers that was over filled. Just empty some of the oil or drain it and do a oil change . Clean or replace spark plug. I cut with one on several yards and gave son-in-law one last year. It may smoke for awhile but should cut fine.
