locking system?

hi i have a peugeot 406 1998 saloon my central locking with the key stopped working but i was able to lock it manually, now though when i insert the key into any of the doors or the boot it just keeps going round in circles please help

had same problem once before, went to a good scrappy and got all locks + ignition barrel + keys for £15-00
