hi
i have a micra 1.0L 16v and when i accelarate the exhaust rattles, doesnt do it any other time. can any1 advise as to what prob could be b4 i take it 2 garage 2 b mended..

Bang on the exhaust with your hand to see if you can hear where it rattles. It may just be the internal baffles in the exhaust, or it may be metal shield around the catalytic covertor rattling, or it may be the internals of the catalytic convertor. As long as it's not blowing, & nothing is going to drop off & if it passes the emmisions part of the MOT, then i would put up with it.

jack car up and see if any of the holding rubbers are missing or brackets loose, can get replacement rubbers from motor factors, if bolts loose tighten them
