Citroen Xsara Picasso lights?

When I start the car the side and headlights come on without them being switched on at the stalk. They then go on and off intermittently and when they do come on the indicators stop working. Only solution so far is to drive with sidelights on. Any one else had this problem?

I have that exact same problem, I enquired with my local Citroen garage who informed me that it was a common fault and would cost me £200 to repair. I continue to drive around with my sidelights on!

hi i have the same problem i just live with it, a new stalk is about £400. i will replace the stalk eventually.

not had that problem, could be you might need to change stalks
