Replacing the capacitor on an Indesit Condenser Dryer IS70C ?
Hi
The drum on my dryer has stopped turning. I took the side off the dryer and found out that the drum will turn if I assist to get it going. I bought a capacitor from espares (http://www.espares.co.uk/part/tumble-dryers/indesit/p/1088/805/0/0/865658/7uf-capacitor.html ) which I thought would be the one that would work however when it arrived it looks different to the one in the site's photo and also to the one in my dryer. The one they sent me is white, looks shorter and fatter but it is 7uf and there are matching codes on both the new and old capacitors of 25/85/21. I can't find a serial number on the dryer but the motor does say it's a 350 motor.
If this is still a capacitor that I can use, is it easy to replace? Are there any instructions anywhere to assist? There are only two prongs on the top of the capacitors but four wires. The wires pair off so two on one prong and two on the other. Does it matter which wires go on which prongs as long as each pair stay together?
I hope this makes sense. Not technical haha
Thanks in advance.
