focus central locking fault?

my 2001 focus saloon central locking developed the usual locking unlocking fault, fuse 63 relaced (was blown) traced fault to rear nearside door unit seized in locked position. this door is locked & will not open. I have managed to remove door trim without too much damage, any ideas on how to release the seized motor???

Disconnect the motor from the connector, run a cable from the battery, spike the motor for 1 second. This method worked. Use the internal lock/unlock button to operate the door until new motor bought.

you should be able to disconnect power lead, undo holding screws, take off any rods and replace with new motor.
