turbo problems?

the turbo does not cut in on my `01 X reg Seat Alhambra 1.9tdi. Could this be a sensor problem? 150,000 miles done.
Any suggestions?

Can be the MAS(mas airflow sensor) or the air recoil valve. The worst is that the bearings of the Turbo are sticky.
