Hi just wondering what symptoms your dyson had? mine currently makes a loud noise (clunking) and flashes from the motor housing.
Thanks

Take a look at this. I logged onto interweb having had a Dyson on the phone diagnosis that my clutch had gone pete tong + £69 quote. The attached repair guide forced me to have a look at the relation ship between the belt and the clutch drive... voila, my belt as in picture 10 had become detached from the motor spindle, 20 mins later saved my self £69 minimum. Clutch assemblies being £18.50 off the web........should you need one. Its easy, nothing to fear just a little care. Good luck
