how can i check oil level on gearbox of movano 2000 reg?

hello, my movano has started making a whining noise (similar to a wheel bearing) but only in 5th gear, could this simply be the oil level, thanks neil

sounds like the bearings in the gearbox m8, these vans eat gearbox bearings,,bearing set for your van is £149 from ebay ,,good luck
