How can I repair my Flymo Lawnmower?

Dear Sir,
I own a " Flymo " Lawn mower.
Product No. 9643201-01
Serial No. 01903571
Model.VT 320. 230V, 50Hz, 1.0kw., 32cm.

The problem is, when I depress the starter switch, there is a slight noise burring sound at the switch, but the blades do not rotate.
Could you tell me the problem, and what can I do to repair it?
I live in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia. I bought the Flymo in England, some 4 years ago.

I am willing to buy spares from UK if it needs to be. I really aqm attached to this mower, and do not want to loose it.
Could anyone Help, please!!!!!!

Thank You in Advance,

If the sound is like the motor is spinning but not turning the blade then it probably needs a new belt.
If the sound is electrical arcing at the switch it sounds like it needs a new switch.
