fridge freezer defrosting itself and warm?

I have an integrated elextrolux fridge freezer er 78311. It has defrosted itself and is warm. Motor sounds like it is running and light comes on but fridge is hot rather than cold. Any ideas anyone please. Have turned it off and left it but is still the same when turned back on.

Could be anything has we found out ourselves when we got in touch with agsrefrigeration they operate in the london area they found that the relay on the compressor was burnt out which they replace all fine since. www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk.

i have a fidgidare fridge/freezer there is no green light on and started to defrost,but it will work if i put fast freeze on

if it runs but not getting cold it could be a gas issue or a compressor issue.both expensive to be repaired!
