have got corsa1.2 53 reg i jacked up front of car and noticed a bit of play on ns wheel so changed track rod end it helped but the rod has play in it what to do next is it the rod worn out or sreering rack the os is solid both ends but ns rod has lot of movement

you can get these track rods from a motor factor,remove t/rod end,lock nut,boot,there is a special tool for removing these but have managed with a plumbers tap tool for for up the back of basins etc,refit in reverse and count the t/rod end turns when you take it off and it is advisable to check your wheel alignment when finished,good luck
