has anyone else had a computer problem with their appliances due to brownou?

I have a 3 door Maytag refridgerator within the last week first the freezer stopped working than the refrigerator stopped 2 days later. My neighbors refrigerator stopped also and my other neighbor had to replace a dryer component. Is this a coincidence?,or does DTE have something to explain.
