I have a Inglis washing machine, model no.1A44500.The bottom portion of agitator works fine,but the top portion does not.What is required to repair and how do I remove the top portion of agitator?The machine is probably 15+ years old.Other than the agitator,the machine works fine.I would appreciate any feedback from those who have had similar problems.Thanks for your help.

Sorry Larry, I don't have an answer.
However I do have the same washer model and I am looking for the pull knob for this model. Mine just basically disinergated.
Any idea where I can get one?
