ive just removed and charged the battery on this scooter that i have just bought. when i have gone to re connect the battery the starter just keeps turning over even with the ignition turned off how can this be fixed?

ok the problem is the starter relay being fused inside,basically the last time you tried to start it it got so hot it fused the pointes together inside the relay.the relay is just in front of the battery to the right as you sit on the bike,take it off and put a new one or a good one on it.its a small yellow box.
