Fisher and Paykel smart drive model 701?

The machine always out of balance and needs to be re-stacked lots of times to get spinning without tripping the out of balance switch

I had the same problem, after $110 the F&P man could not fix this. Said it was not level...still the same problem.
I found that the Struts that support the bowl were worn at the top, The thus the shock absorbing feature did not work. Repaired the struts greased the rods with silicon grease, (Stops the wear on the nylon) all is well. Unit now 12 years old. Can provide additional details if required.

hi maybe this answer comes a bit late.... i pulled mine apart the other day. under the control panel and computer (where the buttons are) is the balancer sensor its on the right hand side. there is a black momentary switch which can be removed. with out it the machine will never sense it is out of balance. simply move it away from the toggle. hope that helps
