I have a a SAMSUNG ER 5100 which I have bought from new as a spare. It is several years old and has not been used. When I switch on I get an error message PE 0.00. I cannot get rid of this message when I operate the clear ram instructions.I have left on to charge battery but no difference. The till rolls are operating ok. Any ideAS,?? Thanks Peter

PE is usually a printer error. It would indicate that the printer cannot turn for some reason. Make sure there are no paper or ribbon jams in the printer and check that the gears can turn (if you can get to them).
