hi, am not sure on this one??? being a common rail injection i would of thought it wouldnt as im pretty sure its all run off the ecu so when you put the key in that over rides the pats system and then uses the cps, maf, map, egr sensors to tell the ecu when to fire through the common rail injection system via frequancy.
on old stuff the shut off was on the rear of the pump under the metal cover (anti theft device) i maight be wrong but am pretty sure thats how it works someone will put me right no doubt if i am though hth cheers
