How do I replace my brakes on 97 ford escort?

My front brakes need replacing, and probably would like to know how to bleed them incase they need it.

Jack up the vehicle front, remove tire , remove the two bolts that hold the clapher in place on the rotor. remove the pad front pad just remember how they came out , before you remove the back pad on the clapher use a large C- clamp to push the fuild back in to the resv. doing this you will not have to bleed the system , and the new assemble will slide back on easy install. install the back pad then slide it back into place replace the bolts install the tire tourqe the lug nut to the proper spec. Now do the same on the other side ....it should only take you appox. a hour to do this job
