ovennot working on my elba px906 range cooker the main wire for the electric oven is straight into socket on the wall which is then linked to fuse box-have checked the main fuse which appears to be intact yet still i cannot get the oven to work the knob has 1st position for light and then different oven settings but even the light will not come on as the grill will not either

if there is no power lights showing, and no other part of the cooker is working? rings / grill/ ect . then there is no power getting to the cooker. you need to check that its swiched on at the socket first , and that the red light on the socket is on , if it has one? , if not then its back to the fuseboard" you dont say what kind of fuseboard you have , is it the old one , with screw in fuses or is it the new one with push up fuses? if so check that the cooker fuse or the trip switch is not down , if so puse it back up . if its the old one , unscrew out the cooker fuse and replace it with a new one , of the same power rateing , (hardware store) , start with all that first , good luck ..
