Peugeot 206 rear wiper?

I am trying to replace the rear wiper on my Peugeot 206. Does anyone know which hand thread the nut is (right or left?) and any other tips for removing it? Thanks

Did damage to the spindle when removing a Bush that had stuck fast on the rear wiper motor ....can this spindle be replaced or does the whole rear wiper motor have to be replaced

Did damage to the spindle on my 307sw when removing a Bush that had been stuck fast ...can the spindle be replaced without removing the motor as everything else is ok

Hey toploader I have just tried replacing mine and you are spot on, I ended up yanking my arm off which left the bush in place and then as you said cut a split in the bush and prised it off, you were a great help, like your style

You need to be really careful with that rear window.
If the nut absolutely won't budge, for under a tenner you can buy a Draper nut splitter.
You just slip the collar over the nut, tighten the bolt, and it chops the nut in half(with no collateral damage)

Hi - hope this comment is in the right place - couldn't work out how to comment on an answer - anyway - my wiper arm snapped off a while ago leaving the nut and bush. I've been soaking the nut in WD40 for a few weeks and still can't shift the nut. I'm going to try to hacksaw the bush off before I get the nut off!! Many thanks for your quick response.

The nut is a normal right hand thread.
(That's the easy bit)
The plastic wiper arm has an aluminium bush, which corrodes onto the spindle. The wiper arm will snap off, leaving the bush firmly stuck in place.
Worst thing is,the spindle comes straight through the window glass,so too much force trying to shift the bush, and your window's gone!
Remove the nut and the old arm.
Then use a junior hacksaw to cut through the bush (it's really soft, and cuts like butter)
Fit the new arm and nut...sorted!
