You will most likely have air in the system. It's normally a good idea to fill the new filter with clean diesel, it will then usually start ok. If you do this now & then try to start it , it should start eventually, but you will probably have to turn it over for quite a while,it may also keep stalling & misfiring until all the air is out. It should clear the air by its self eventually.
