How can I connect my new Hewlett Packard All-In-One Scanner, Printer, Copie?

I contacted HP support for installation of my new All-In-One F340 series. They advised me there was a problem either with my USB port connection or my operating system (Windows Millenium). Are there updates I can download so I can install this new All-In-One?

Get your money back if you can. The price of Hewlett Packard ink cartridges are outrageous. I paid £30 just for a re-filled cartridge. I printed 7 sheets and it was empty.
