Am in the same boat/van! Fulltank, drove less than a mile...engine cut out and wont start! Got the AA to come and see.... if primed with the rubber hand primer it would run but stopped when priming stopped! He wasnt sure if van is fitted with tank pump or not. Seems by what i have read above it is..... The Van is a 06 37,000 miler and was running perfect! Look again Monday as have had enough for one day! Will try a report back here if i find out whats happened.

hi all found the answer to day the problem was the high pressure fuel pump. falut was that on the back of the pump the spline or spindle was broke this a common problem on these vans easy to find just remove the silver bit on the back of the pump if faulty you will soon see how ever you will need to fit a new pump but please remember these ARE CODED TO YOUR KEY FOB hope this helps

had one that wouldn`t start until you hand primed the filter while cranking and would run until you stopped priming, turned out to be the high pressure pump, but would be worthwhile getting a code reader onto it and maybe start by renewing the filter and checking the heater plugs are working good luck
