loss of power going up hills?

Ford Galaxy 1.9tdi, loss of power going up hills but otherwise fine. I am sorry i forgot to mention the vehicle is automatic.

many thanks everyone who helped me with my problem with galaxy. i have cleaned the mass air flow sensor and changed the air filter and the car is going like a rocket.

Ensure no carpet is under throttle pedal. If OK then is turbo working, pipes all on and not blowing off/split. Check live data for throttle position and mass air flow. Is exhaust blocked, poss rear box collapsed. Does it kickdown and revs not climb going uphill or does it stay in high gear? Not easy to diag over net, but good luck

When this has happened to my cars over the years (just twice) it has been the first sign of the clutch needing to be replaced.
