Tricity Bendix BWD1012 not spinning?

My washer dryer Tricity Bendix BWD1012 not spinning. It spins freely when the machine is switch off but something seems to be preventing it to spin when it is on. I tried with and without a load and clean the filter. It is draining fine.

motor brushes worn out.these are attached to the side of the motor.to gain access to them lay the machine on its back and you can get to them without removing the motor
