Have you taken the blower housing off and checked the fins and interior for debris? Blow out with low pressure air if possible or take a brush to it, or both. This can cause the overheating. Also check to see if your air filter is dirty it can cause the engine to overheat too. Take the Foam Filter and clean it with soap and warm water let dry, then pour a little oil, just enough to coat it (if when you squeeze it oil leaks out, there is too much, take a cloth and squeeze out the excess. Replace. (If the filter is falling apart replace with new.) Also check the exaust (muffler) Clean it too. Hope this helps.
