how can i fix the problem?

i have overfilled my vauxhall cavalier engine, and the engine keep cutting out as sson as i brake or stop, what else can it cause and what is the cure for this, thanks, 1994 m reg 2litre gls

try draining about 1 litre of oil, to drain the oil remove the bolt at the bottom of the sump which is at the bottom front of the engine
