How do I replace the front of my indesit freezer drawer?

How do I replace the front of my indesit freezer drawer? The old one is cracked & can be quite easily removed, but I am not sure how to put the new one on without cracking it! I'm sure there must be a knack??????

Turn the drawer upside down on the floor, then get a screwdriver and a hammer and GENTLY tap the old drawer front at each of the four non-fixing lugs. The clear plastic breaks and comes away just in these areas which means you can now get access to the three fixing lugs and easily prise them apart. Once the bottom is clear give it a wiggle and the side clips will undo.

Indesit 3 drawer freezer, drawer front replacement.
Having read the above and examined the replacement fronts I saw that mine had 4 tabs top and bottom, I soon discovered that the bottom 4 tabs were to add rigidity, not to clip into any socket, the bottom rail is just a sliding fit the internal side moulding includes clips which are easily disengaged.
With the drawer upside down and facing me
I inserted a screwdriver in the L & R lateral holes ( just half an inch deep) and gently pulled the old drawer front, towards me. The front simply fell into my lap and the replacement just clicked home when offered up in the same way. What could be easier, and no cause for concern.

Allow to come to room temperature first or you risk breaking off the lugs, the unit is brittle when cold. With the drawer upside down use a thin blade ,
metal ruler or similar to gently ease the bottom of the drawer up and over the lugs starting at one end and working along. Once you have done the first one it helps to push a screwdriver between the drawer and front to stop the front slipping back over the lugs. Do the same with the side lugs. Do not pull the front too far away from the body or you will snap the top lugs. Then ease the front up and over the top lugs.
To fit a new front first locate the front onto the top lugs on the body then push the front onto the body to engage the side and bottom lugs.
Work slowly and gently and do not force anything.

I had to turn the drawer upside down then prise the 3 tabs leaving a thin blade in each until all three were unengaged then the bottom slid out. Gently prise the sides and the front slides off. I actually broke the bottom tabs on the front to get them out, the trick is to break the tabs on the front which is to be thrown away anyway but protect the body of the drawer which is to be used again.

i could only do my one by starting by releasing the top clips then the bottom comes out easy

When you have released bottom of draw as described by Keith, the top remains hooked at top.
Just ease it up slightly making sure the bottom clears the draw. Then to refit, follow Keith's instructions. Thank you keith!

There is a little lip on the top male part of the drawer that clips inside the drawer front. Simply lift the side of the drawer front whilst pushing forwards. The front comes off easily, just replace in the opposite way!

Turn them upside down & gently prise the 4 tabs along the bottom. You will notice when you "work" the 2 end tabs, the sides of the drawer will release from the draw & you then steadily extract the panel from the drawer. Approx 2 minutes per drawer. Refitting? Not sure yet, only just got the panels off but I think it will be to align panel with drawer, sides slightly higher & then slide & push until everything locks into place.
