rover400 414 rattling metal scraping noise when driven?

i have a rover 400 414 v reg its making a scraping rattling noise when driven i have already changed the catt and checked the heat shelds on exhaust its definatly the exhaust what or where the noise is i dont know if anyone can help i would be most greatful ste.

Check the brake disc shielding plates, they can sometimes rattle or rub on the discs!
