is it a condensor dryer? if it is one where you empty the water tank then try cleaning the condensor unit.. big oblong thing that slides out the front of machine. you have to wash them out or the unit just keeps recycling steamy air around the unit without drying, alternatively if not a condensor dryer check vent hoe at back for blockage or kinking. sometimes the vent on the wall outside clags up with fluff. if the machine is on you should feel a good flow of air blowing out the end

have you tried cleaning out the filter mine does that sometimes and cleaning the filter allways works
