when switched on to the 240v mains supply it trips the switch,when connected to the12v supply it doesnt work,same with the gas supply the gas light is ignited but fridge wont get cold.the fridge is fitted in my 1992 eldiss tornado xl caravan.thanks for your time

I have a electrolux RM420 caravan fridge it would not work on mains setting so i turned it upside down this did not work so i put a new mains cable in and it worked a treat. Very easy to fit.
