1996 honda civic lx windshield wiper?

the wiper arms have fused to the pivots.I need to remove them to get the motor out so I can lubricate the drive quadrant.

there is a small puller on the market devised for pulling off the wiper arms,another way is to slacken off the nuts,gently lever under the arm at the pivot and give the spindle a sharp rap with a copper hammer and this should shock the arm free,good luck
