my tumble dryer is a indesit make 6 kg.model number 1s6ov(uk).its ok for 5 minutes then it starts making a loud screeching noise its turning and heating ok

Your drum belt needs replacing, you have belt slip, and it gets worse when the belt is hot, it does not pull the drum around.
