we have an hotpiont first edition 1000 washer and when i do a wash it all works well til about half way through the cycle then it starts to leak like mad its not from the waste pipe as ive taken it off and emptied it the seel dosent seem to be damaged is there any help u can offer as im a single mum who cannot afford to purchase a new washer so any help will be highly appreciated thanking you miss susanne lane

check around all of the lower pipes and pump area for a white powdery stain,the leak could also be coming from the gland seal on the pump housing itself (replacement pump needed)
